Taste Buds Catering and Sweets is a family business. It started as a home business. The passion of cooking was created by her grandmother as a youth. After visiting L’Ecole
Culinaire School on a date night, educator turned master chef, Candis Quinn decided to enroll, thereby perfecting her skills for cooking and catering. Taste Buds Meal
Prep was established in 2017 and quickly became one of Memphis’ premier meal prep businesses, serving over 100 meals weekly. After winning the Best in Black Award
for Best Meal Prep business and graduating from L’Ecole, Quinn added decadent sweets and cakes to her repertoire. Taste Buds now average over 100 cakes monthly. From
wedding cakes to birthday cakes, Taste Buds does it all! Combining her love of education and culinary, Candis has made her mark by becoming Shelby County School's top culinary educator, working with students who desire to walk in her footsteps.

In 2020, Taste Buds became a full-service event business. In addition, serving delicious food and sweets, they now offer a full décor of any space. As the business continued to expand, In 2021 Taste Buds opened a brick or mortar in the Oak Court Mall in Memphis, TN as a full bakery. The bakery offers a variety of desserts and savoury treats.
